I’ve just finished a new illustrated book: “Up in the Skies” (Pearson, UK); Lee the bug and his flying insect friends get together under threat from a dangerous magpie.

- May 16, 12Here are some of the character designs I've created for a recently finished illustrated book series, spanning four volumes. They tell four stories about a different group of friends, each revolving around four respective sports: baseball, football, soccer and lacrosse. | Algunos de los diseños de personajes que he creado para la colección de libros que finalicé recientemente. Son cuatro títulos, cada uno sobre un grupo diferente de amigos que juegan, respectivamente, cuatro deportes: baseball, fooball, soccer y lacrosse.
First image: main character of the book "Down for the count". In this early concept, Junior is wearing a pitcher's glove although he's a hitter during his story.
Second image: His coach.
Following images: Two sketched scenes for this title, on last one best Junior's friend "Swish" appears.
Primera imágen: personaje principal del libro "Down for the count". En este concepto inicial, Junior lleva un guante de lanzador, aunque en la historia es un bateador.
Segunda imágen: Su entrenador.
Imágenes siguientes: Dos escenas, en la última aparece "Swish", el mejor amigo de Junior.
